What If Every Ant Vanished?

Not an article — an exploration you steer. Pick a direction (food chains, forests, or us), make a prediction at each layer, and watch the consequences unfold step by step.

Build an Underwater City

Five minutes, one city. Choose exactly 3 power sources, 2 ways to get around and 1 defence, name your city — and get a city card you can download and show off.

Bored? Press a feeling instead of scrolling.

Surprise Lab is a boredom button with a twist: instead of a feed that never ends, you pick a feeling — a thrill, a curiosity itch, a brain workout, something to create, something slow — and get one tiny experience that actually finishes. It is built for the "I'm bored, what should I do?" moment: no app to install, no account to make, no twenty-minute scroll hoping something good turns up.

Right now there are three things to do when you're bored here: crack The 11 PM Message, a short interactive mystery where one of three suspects is lying and the evidence decides; steer What If Every Ant Vanished?, a curiosity exploration where your predictions steer what gets revealed, layer by layer; and Build an Underwater City, a five-minute creation challenge under playful constraints that ends with a city card you can download. A fresh Daily Challenge rotates in every day — same for everyone who visits that day — and finishing any experience hands you a result card you can send to a friend. They land straight inside the same experience: no sign-up wall in between.

Everything is free and runs right in your browser. Surprise Lab is part of the Flubub Trend Lab, where small experiments live or die by whether people actually finish them, replay them and pass them on.

The widget carries one small "Powered by Flubub Surprise Lab" line at the bottom — that is the entire deal.

These are experiments from the Trend Lab. Each one ends with a two-tap rating — that is genuinely how we decide whether to build more of them or quietly retire them.
